The Beginning Stage of Aquaponics Project 

"Gutter Grow Bed"

OBJECTIVES

  • To implement the initial process of a project that has been planned before.

CONTENTS

1. Beginning progress on building of aquaponics facilities.

For the staring of this aquaponic work, I will build a grow bed for the plant base by using the gutter drain. I use 2 unit of gutter for my setup. All measurement work should be done carefully so that no leakage problems will occur later. 


    Inside this gutter system as well, I built a bell siphon system. Bell siphon is a very important in based aquaponics system because it regulating the entire system's water flow and efficiently helping move the water from the media bed into the fish tank.




2. Hardware items ordered through the online platform for aquaponics project arrived
  • 30W 12V Solar Panel 
  • 10A 12V Solar Charger Controller
  • 12V Solar Battery
  • 200W Solar Inverter


SUMMARY

  • The beginning works for the aquaponic facility which is the grow beds for the plant has commenced and expected to be completed within the targeted period.

  Poster Approval Checking & Final Setup on Project Devices  OBJECTIVES To do a final review of the poster before it is printed for the presentation session. Do the troubleshoot and gather the measured data on the project devices. CONTENTS 1.  Final checking of the poster banner with Academic Supervisor (ASV). Before attend the demonstration day at Gemilang Hall on Wednesday 25/5/2022, I went through on final checking with my supervisor, Dr Zaki to get his comments on if there should be additions or improvements.
