 Workshop 4 Presentation and Defense Proposal  & Chapter 3 Progress Report

OBJECTIVES

  • To prepare the requirement needed in presentation and defense proposal slides.
  • Start writing progress report for Chapter 3 (Methodology).

CONTENTS

1. Workshop 4 Final Year Project (FYP)  Preparation Slide Presentation and Documentation

    In week 8, the presentation and defense proposal briefing was conducted on Microsoft Teams that involved the FYP Diploma/FYP1/FYP2/IFYP students and the attendance is compulsory. The briefing was conducted by Madam Azliza Mohamad Arshad. 

Date: 6th October 2021

Time: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Venue: Online Microsoft Teams

In this briefing, the Final Year Project (FYP) committees have briefed us about:

1. Planning Flow during the Defense Proposal Day. 

2.Arrangement of Slide Presentation and Documentation

3. Tips and Tricks of Presentation




 

2.  Progress report on Chapter 3

 I was instructed by my supervisor Dr Zaki, to continue the progress report in chapter 3. After list out and knowing all the hardware components that I wanted to use in this project, I need to create a block diagram and the flow chart of the project. So, from there we can see more clearly and understand the whole project I am doing.

SUMMARY

  • Gain the ideas on how to prepare a good presentation slides.
  • Get a progress report set up in chapter 3.

    Need to include the communication with SV on designs of the intended system, technical specs etc

  Poster Approval Checking & Final Setup on Project Devices  OBJECTIVES To do a final review of the poster before it is printed for the presentation session. Do the troubleshoot and gather the measured data on the project devices. CONTENTS 1.  Final checking of the poster banner with Academic Supervisor (ASV). Before attend the demonstration day at Gemilang Hall on Wednesday 25/5/2022, I went through on final checking with my supervisor, Dr Zaki to get his comments on if there should be additions or improvements.   Search Academic Supervisor (ASV) & Final Year Project (FYP) Title Selection OBJECTIVES:   To find a Final Year Project (FYP) Supervisor to provide guidance on how to plan and assist in  performing the project. To produce a suitable title of  Final Year Project (FYP) for the registration. CONTENTS:      In the  1 st  week, I decided to search the lecturer that still available to be my supervisor for the Final Year Project (FYP). I contacted him, Dr Mohd Zaki Ayob directly and asked for his permission to be my Final Year Project (FYP) supervisor.
